The building has ONLY one elevator and many elderly people with needed medical devices wheelchairs scooters walkers etc on upper floors However when the elevator breaks down there are no alternatives for these folks to get in and out of the apts Property management fails to understand the gravity of this situation

This apartment complex is extremely filthy The Office Manager does not care about the building or the residents and she is also never in the office They pay workers crumbs so they can never keep consistent Maintenance Workers or Care Takers Corporate office never returns calls BEWARE

If you put in a maintenance request you dont hear back for several hours and they dont even fully fix the problem Weve had a broken window since spring and all theyve done to fix it is put tape on it that says dont open and its now almost August again with no word on when theyre fixing it Every floor has at least one broken washer and dryer consistantly and 2018-07-23T19:26:52Z
If you put in a maintenance request you dont hear back for several hours and they dont even fully fix the problem Weve had a broken window since spring and all theyve done to fix it is put tape on it that says dont open and its now almost August again with no word on when theyre fixing it Every floor has at least one broken washer and dryer consistantly and when property manager was informed he told me to call maintenance myself about all six broken units despite maintenance being with him when I spoke with him and the elevator shakes and groans The different residents have taken to leaving notes warning other residents about which washer and dryers are broken so that we all stop losing money which they dont refund even with a formal complaint They also recently decided to wash the windows so they entered the apartments and took out all the screens and then left the screens in the middle of the apartments for almost three weeks at this point even though windows have all been washed with no word on when they are replacing the screens The mailboxes are crusted and hard to open due to a leak from the ceiling they never fully cleaned Have spent the entire year without a call box number despite going down and requesting having one made several times more ... hide ...

Sibley Court started out fine but went down hill fastnnDuring our third month of living there we had severe water damage to our bedroom wall and living room ceiling including mold Maintenance was in no rush to repair the leak get rid of the mold or accommodate our living conditions After three weeks of badgering the office manager maintenance finally came by and patched things up with paintnnSix months later the leak came back even worse this time and so did the mold A new office manager had taken over since and they were much more on top of the problem But again we were not accommodated at all before threatening to bring in legal actionnnThey were going to kick us out of our apartment with one week notice and move us into a different apartment room that was much less flattering After repairs we were not going to be allowed to move back into our original apartment that we signed our lease withnnSo after going back and forth with the higherups they finally gave in and allowed us to move back in after repairs were made Though during the repairs we were moved into a much smaller apartment for over a monthnnAll in all I would strongly not recommend this place I know that our apartment was not the only one with mold and I hope other tenants speak up to get their rooms looked at Especially since there are lots of children living in the buildingnnIn addition to mediocre management and poor living conditions some of the tenants dont respect the building Many of them dont pick up after themselves and leave the hallways elevators laundry room and garage a messnnWe moved right down the street to a much nicer building way better maintenance team friendlier tenants who respect the building a lot more amenities included and for around the same price more ... hide ...
