We chose The Shoreham in part because of the way online reviewers described the approach taken by management when something goes wrong Many other management companies seem unconcerned about security issues etc Reviewers of The Shoreham rave about Heidi who has managed this property since it opened five years agonFrom our experience during applicationmovein and our first month here the rave reviews are wellfounded Weve had a couple of minor issues eg at first someone kept parking in our newlyassigned space in the parking garage This was especially stressful during all the backandforth of moving in Heidi provided an alternative space actually more convenient to the elevator for us to use while she got in touch with the other resident I really liked that no one got towed and good relations were maintained while our needs were accommodated in a timely mannernWe have found staff at The Shoreham to be consistently professional helpful and flexible while still maintaining high standardsnAnd our apartment is very nice too

Ill preface and say that your experience may vary and I wish this was a positive reviewnnI resided in Park Glen for the last three years without any major issues Since last fall my experience degraded significantly A resident below my unit started accusing me of making excessive noise starting last fall I live on my own and have always done my best to be respectful to my neighbors So these complaints were not consistent with how I was behaving in the unitnnThe first complaint include a rude note and I provided the note to the building manager I was told that they were aware of this issue and said they would handle it No follow up was provided The resident knocked on my door two separate times and rudely accused me of making too much noise The final time they threatened to call the police which made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe in my unit Again I reported this interaction to the building manager and they said that their hands were tied and suggested that I call the police which didnt seem like a solution that would deescalate the issuennI requested to be move to a different unit due to the harassment from this resident and the building manager refused to move the conversation furthernnWith this unit being both my home and office due to COVID I no longer felt safe living in the building and vacated my unit almost two months before my lease was over Due to the inaction of the building manager to resolve this issue I requested to forgo my final month of rent and this was refused as well I also contacted the leasing company Stuart Co and no response was providednnThis whole situation was upsetting and the lack of empathy for someone who resided in the building was unacceptablennMost people probably wont have issues living in this building but keep in mind that if you run into a difficult situation that the leasing company and the building manager might not work with you to resolve the situation

I had a friend who recently moved out of Menorah Plaza due to unsatisfactory management and care In all my visits I never encountered staff who spoke fluent understandable English nor staff who actually seemed compassionate about their jobs and their residents everyone was rushrush and seemed like everything was a bother On numerous visits I witnessed def

I had a friend who recently moved out of Menorah Plaza due to unsatisfactory management and care In all my visits I never encountered staff who spoke fluent understandable English nor staff who actually seemed compassionate about their jobs and their residents everyone was rushrush and seemed like everything was a bother On numerous visits I witnessed deficiencies within the apartment no hot running water wind blowing in around the AC box poor heat circulation in all the rooms no heat in the bathroom and minimal heat in the bedroom Meals consisted of a sub par sandwich a little coleslaw and possibly some applesauce There seemed to be no hot meal option nor consideration for special dietary needsnMy friend had pulled the emergency cord as she was bleeding considerably and felt extremely weak She stated staff were bothered and merely told her to take it easy and rest for the remainder of the day Her bed sheets were saturated Upon taking her to the doctor they diagnosed dehydration and other medical concerns that had they just left her to sleep she may have passed out and potentially died from loss of bloodnUpon move out management waited 43 days to send notice to my friend that they intended to keep her entire security deposit for painting new carpets and cleaning They indicated that they my friend left personal belongings in the apartment failed to clean everything and damaged the walls and carpet and now they are expecting her to send them moneynWe took pictures of every room upon move out staff looked the apartment while we were still packing and cleaning as the movers were moving out

They really nice apts for ppl who need to transition to a better existence Down fall ugh the walk to a store is didnt figure it out Uber err where Though multiple restaurants deliver there No smoking but hey its got a beautiful Park behind it good for a walk ItSkinny
