Upon viewing the property it was a beautiful apartment inside and out the lady who showed me the apartment was very professional and welcoming Upon me leaving the apartments I was emailed everyday regarding my application when I stated I was applying on a certain date So I finally apply I send in my check stubs and everything they call me saying my check stubs where invalid with my gross pay Im 20 and a young black female I make 65000 annually I literally tried to have her explain to me how my check stubs where invalid she couldnt break anything down to me I stated she could contact my employer directly if she had any concerns regarding my check stubs she kept cutting me off saying it doesnt add up and Im not approved then hanging up I contacted my employer to let them know what she was saying to me and they broke everything down to me and even told me to have her give them a call she still wouldnt listen to me and just kept discouraging my word She didnt even put in effort to try to contact my employer to verify anything I felt very discriminated as if she didnt want to give me the apartment anyway from the beginning I definitely believe it was because of my age and skin tone to the neighborhood I highly dont recommend I ended up finding somewhere nicer and cheaper
