I have a relative living in an apartment complex ran by this company She has been there for many years One time she accidentally wrote the rent check for literally a dollar less than the amount due Instead of doing the sane thing and calling to alert her they immediately began the eviction process and sent a letter I went to her apartment about a week later 2019-07-17T20:29:12Z
I have a relative living in an apartment complex ran by this company She has been there for many years One time she accidentally wrote the rent check for literally a dollar less than the amount due Instead of doing the sane thing and calling to alert her they immediately began the eviction process and sent a letter I went to her apartment about a week later and checked her mail and there was the letter saying they were going to evict her over a dollar After some heated phone calls and running a check to them they canceled the process but this shows how inhuman this place is ran It seems they want to find any reason they can to evict residents Their ability to use the phone seems to be almost absent They sometimes forget to include the rent envelope with the rent statement Whoever cuts the grass makes a huge mess of the sidewalks and porches every single time slip and fall hazard and never clean it up To make matters worse they keep raising her rent every chance they get She is paying almost double what she paid when she first moved in The apartments are also not handicap friendly The front door threshold is too high making it almost impossible to get a wheelchair or walker over it The threshold to the bathroom is also too high The only option for a showertub is a standard tub with a very high side they should be walk in tubs All in all the place is a place to stay but thats about it If you are able to get around and do things easily and dont mind being treated like a child and dont mind the constant worry of being evicted rent from these people The good thing is if she did get evicted she has a place to stay with me more ... hide ...

Walls are way too thin We had a neighbor threaten our children with a baseball bat while they were quietly walking down the hallways because they were walking too loud according to her You can hear absolutely everything going on in the hallways because its hardwood floors We moved within 6 months because of it We lived right next to the community center and 2018-08-09T21:18:47Z
Walls are way too thin We had a neighbor threaten our children with a baseball bat while they were quietly walking down the hallways because they were walking too loud according to her You can hear absolutely everything going on in the hallways because its hardwood floors We moved within 6 months because of it We lived right next to the community center and people were always throwing parties after 10pm The back door right there at the community center was constantly being slammed to the point my children could never get any sleep We cleaned up everything nicely and even made sure we were going to get our security deposit back with the property manager She said as long as everything checked out we would be okay Ended up getting a letter 2 weeks after we moved about how they used the 200 to pay for a week of us staying there when we moved the first of the month When I mentioned it to the property manager she fixed it in the computer and said we should receive it back A month goes by and we still hadnt heard anything I called and I was told that since we voilated the lease we couldnt receive it back the words of the upper management of this place not property management I read the lease up and down and NO WHERE on there does it say anything about not receiving the security deposit back if moving out before the lease is up Even met with a lawyer who said as long as the evaluation of the apartment didnt have any charges they cant hold the security deposit The ONLY reason I didnt go forward with this was because the property manager was great while we were there Not only that the hallways constantly smelled like illegal substance that would make its way into the apartments since the walls were so thin I only gave 2 stars for the property manager and because maintenance was always there when needed them None of this is the property managers fault its the people who manage the lofts I would NEVER recommended this place to anyone more ... hide ...
