First off what was claimed in other reviews the imposing figure that Capital Towers presents is fast dwindling due to the much more imposing buildings rocketing up in North Hills Second while they perform what seems to be quarterly inspections for bedbugs my friend hasnt heard of them finding any and shes lived there for 3 years Lets not confuse inspecting for bedbugs with having them most places dont even bother with those inspections For the rest of the building it was built with HUD dollars back in the early 70s and it targets low income residents so if youre expecting the Four Seasons youre not living in reality Rent usually around 600700 includes utilities use of their library regular minibus transportation to grocers and retailers donations from food banks often sweeping views of Raleigh and other amenities Its within walking distance of 2 grocery stores a pharmacy movie theaters banks and countless restaurants and retailers If you or your parents spent their work life serving others and not their bank accounts and are independent in most aspects of life there is no better place in Raleigh or Charlotte for that matter Its an older building that needs updating but if that were done rents would rise and that would not serve their residents In a nutshell for what one gets for the money this is a pretty good deal If you have a lot of money then its probably not for you
