Kudos for stretching their dollars to the max The Older Americans Act has seen better days The funding for the types of services that Community Senior Service of Johnston County is being cut at this minute Trying to serve a county of such population growth comes with challenges that go unseen From offering JCATS assistance in home aid home delivered meals overseeing senior activity centers and offering onsite assistance such as options counseling for older adults they have a full plate and not a single full pot to dip in Much of the agencys great works are done through volunteerism They are a benefit to any senior or older adult in the Johnston County community and should be commended for looking out for aspects of all of our futures I am not an older adult but one day I will bejust like ALL of YOU more ... hide ...

I had a HORRIBLE experience living there There wasnt much room for a child to play within sight the drama levels were HIGH the neighbor next door could hear EVERYTHING you were doing The previous manager was hardly there and the level of safety you felt was very low with the HIGH levels of drama that the residents and sometimes manager displayed There was al 2016-01-27T16:49:07Z

Everything was great until Mrs Teresa stopped working here New manager was never at the office if you leave a message she does not return calls We had 2 months left until lease was up no no one would get back with us regarding this When 30 days were left there was a form on my door asking me to renew our lease We declined since we already had a home to move into We were told we would do a walk through of the house prior to leaving but no one ever got back with us to schedule this we contacted her multiple times and did not hear back We left without getting a proper walk through She never returned our call regarding our deposit We received a letter months later saying we wouldnt get our deposit back plus 600 bill for new carpet and paint The unit was left spotless We ask to meet with her discuss bc there was not any damage to the carpet but no call was ever returned We waited so long the balance was moved to a creditor when we reached out to pay it the bill was actually only 400 A previous tenant there told me she was billed more then what the bill actually was when she moved out too It seems Glen Lake likes to profit by screwing people over Also if you move into APT 204 youll have to deal with an old lady that complains about you walking around your complex at 1pm in the afternoon more ... hide ...

I love my apartment Beautiful hardwood floors and alot of closet space Quite a few windows that allow for natural light Great manager Sherry who cares for her tenants and really tries to accommodate everyone

I absolutely love living here if I was able to have my door open and my blinds without the family two apartments down coming onto my porch and staring into my door and window I also have a problem with her letting her son walk into our apartment if our doors not locked or walking into our car when were trying to buckle my son into his car seat
