Typically people have a hard time finding this building Its one of three Westerly Senior Apartments but its behind the 2 buildings on Detroit Most people have no clue the North Westerly II building cant be seen from the main street If you get lost dont feel bad Almost everyone does

This was my experience and it does not mean it will be everyones experience but it was really weird I called this complex from California looking for an apartment for my mom who was relocating from California to Lakewood I spoke to Tori She let me know there were no vacancies so I asked if there was a waiting list She told me we dont do waiting lists which I 2022-09-20T12:09:48Z
This was my experience and it does not mean it will be everyones experience but it was really weird I called this complex from California looking for an apartment for my mom who was relocating from California to Lakewood I spoke to Tori She let me know there were no vacancies so I asked if there was a waiting list She told me we dont do waiting lists which I thought was strange especially for a senior community I asked her how do they decide who moves in and she said I decide who moves in based on need I found this was an odd response considering this is an independent living community and the residents needs are different than an assisted living community Who made her God and let her decide who can move in and who cant She then suggested that I call every 45 days to see if there is a space for my momnnI literally marked my calendar 45 days out and called yesterday which was the 45th day When I called this time a woman named Brenda answered the phone Brenda was pleasant and when I asked her if there was occupancy she told me no but there is a waiting list My jaw hit the floor A waiting list She said yes there always has been I told her about what happened with Tori and she apologized I told her that I needed to speak to a manager and she sent me to the managers voicemailnnI left a detailed message for the manager and as of today I have not received a call back I dont need a call back but they definitely need to know what Tori told me in case she is telling other people the same thing I dont understand it but its a sign that I would definitely never have my own mother stay in a place that operates like this Housing for seniors and generally everyone is important and should be treated with care She should be ashamed of herself more ... hide ...
