I tried to move to these apartments from out of state Michigan and they wanted me to come in for an application appointment I tried to explain to them over email and on the phone that I would like to do all of this virtuallyon the phone so that when I arrive from a 20 hour drive all of this is ready and I can have my keys The lady got very sassy with me and 2020-07-14T16:04:55Z
I tried to move to these apartments from out of state Michigan and they wanted me to come in for an application appointment I tried to explain to them over email and on the phone that I would like to do all of this virtuallyon the phone so that when I arrive from a 20 hour drive all of this is ready and I can have my keys The lady got very sassy with me and tried arguing with me and telling me that there might be errors on the application if I fill it out myself and that its their policy to do everything in person and they dont have the technology to support electronic signatures Have you heard of scanning in a document Not to mention we are in the middle of a pandemic how is it not possible to do things virtually I am absolutely mind blown and they have lost a costumer from someone who really wanted to live at this location more ... hide ...

Awesome it has a place for kids to go for children who are bored Its called boys and girls club Has 3 parks and fields for us kids to play in Its a safe neighborhood to come to Nothing violently hasnt happened so it is an awesome place to live

We recently went through a disaster event here at the apartments there was a fire and then flooding and it happened in the early morning before 3amnWhat was an already chaotic situation was only made better by the quick response and fast proactiveness of the Property Manager Yvonne Maguire and the amazing hardworking maintenance staff composed of Michael and Matthew We lost power to half of our apartment and Michael and Matthew worked tirelessly to fix the electrical issue which was a bit of an ordeal to say the least They were conscientious knowledgeable and thorough and took all the proper health precautions to keep myself and my husband safe whom is severely immunocompromised We are so grateful and happy to have staff that looks out for our well beingnThey all worked so hard for 2 days to fix everyones apartments It feels good to know your safe and cared for where you live Thank you Think East Staff more ... hide ...

Although they advertise my former apartment complex as Seniors Only they are allowing younger relatives of the over 55 tenant to move They have no idea how many folks have been doing that Its unenforceable as more and more 20 Year olds are appearing wandering around the hallways They even had one pair of shady tenants rip the washerdryer money card machine right out of the wall next to the elevatorall on Mothers Day People walking in and out no need to enter a door code I watched streams of grandkids and adult children bringing flowers and gifts through the lobby I lived just down the hall and went to grab lunch Thirty minutes later I return to the lobby to see a small crowd of people standing next to a huge hole in the wall Same thing happened with some local transients kept being spotted either wandering around wearing all black hoodies or the cleaning crew surprised by some guy Sleeping in a bathroom they never bothered to repair the lock on the fence in the back despite being told numerous times I started living there in 2017 shortly after having gone through a really rough health scare in New Mexico My lungs were frail and I had to be on oxygen tanks all the time I was sitting in the lobby and one of the agents came over and plugged in a fake perfume room deodorizer very strong smelling stuff There was no letting me know what she was doing She just plugged it in and walked away My oxygen tank was really obvious I would think I decided to go to my apartment just 100 feet down the hall As I started walking I saw the other leasing office agent holding up a can of Air freshener spraying it nonstop as I was forced to breathe in the chemicals No apologies She just said that some bigwigs from corporate were going to visit them and they wanted everything to be beautiful more ... hide ...

Wow first off I want to say any information I got it was from the reviews I was offered a unit by HATC and was mandated to call the office within TWO days to make an appointment to accept or decline the offer I called the same day ofcorse My kids and I have been living in a shelter for 9MONTHS we were excited to finally be accept Only for my excitement to go down after speaking with the office the first time I was cut off in mid conversation told that they dont have any units ready and itll be a couple of weeks which is literally 14 days My number was verified by the office lady Im assuming ISA JUAREZ So that was day 1 I reread my unit offer and then realize it said that if housing dont receive any written notice of acceptance on the 3rd day after the offer was sent by 500pm the offer will be denied and you have to wait 1year before applying to the apartment complex again So I call the office and ask to speak with ISA for more information I was told that she was not in the office and my information was taken and told someone would give me a call back this is when it got ugly I called for the 3rd time requesting information before I could get anything out I was transferred to both managers in the office ISA and a MAN who was also extremely unprofessional by telling my that theyre going to end the call because I was expressing anger and irritation toward the situation I got furious at that time because I feel that they should validate individuals feelings being this is a disabled apartment complex they have no clue what my disability is and to be treated that way was stressful I was told in a rude manner they were going to have my housing caseworker give me a call still did not explain the situation besides the unit was not ready I wouldve at least like to be aware of whats going on because a couple of weeks has passed It just scares me that I have to deal with these people for a year and weve already started on the slate Its ridiculous why did I get treated like this Because I am low income living in poverty Because I am disabled at a young age Because I am not middle class I would like this to be addressed Just know I will not stop until I am treated like an equal citizen Thanks for listening and good luck to anyone who may have to deal with this apartment complex in the future I believe in customer service 100 thats why I rated the 1 star more ... hide ...

Beware of the managing staff there They really know how to lie or forget even steal The manager is rude and bossy She thinks she can get into your business whenever she wants just because you are a tenant and there is a gossiping issue there Anyways be weary of any decision you might have in joining this place They will scam you if you arent paying attention
