It would be unfair and degrading to me to give TCHAO the lowest rating there is and it would be untrue for me to give them the highest however to give a low rating in itself speaks volume about the need and room for improvement There is no question that there is a real need for goverment subsidised housing and very promising to move to non subsidised housing

It would be unfair and degrading to me to give TCHAO the lowest rating there is and it would be untrue for me to give them the highest however to give a low rating in itself speaks volume about the need and room for improvement There is no question that there is a real need for goverment subsidised housing and very promising to move to non subsidised housing Anyone on the program should be grateful for the assistance and anyone working for housing should be equally grateful for their jobs The program is worthy needed and greatfully appreciated by most participate However where the issue seems to lie from my prospective is there is a real sense of apathy amongest the staff in the entire Housing department and a lack of real empathy on the part of the staff for the participants I am aware that there are some participants who does not meet govermental regulations when it comes to appropriate behavior and that is taken care of swiftly by removig them from the program It should be a two way street where participants should empathize with staff about heavy case loads and all the governmental red tape that have to deal with Workers or staff should have more empathy for the participants as the housing in most cases can be a life or death situation for the participants It seems in my prespective participants are mandated to empathize with the staff and is penalized very quickly if we get out of line where as staff are not There are those who will reason with how do one know whether the staff is being empathizing or just apathy Well the same way you can tell that a participant is not being very empathy You tell a tree by its fruitsyou tell a person by their action When you call the front desk from information and you are turned away and told to address it with your counselor because it maybe specific question that need to address without given a chance to ask the question thats apathy duing a job without craring or emotions To calla counselor to be greeted by a recording saying they will return phone calls within the next business day and they dont call back are its several days later Thats to me is hiding behind apathy Yes we always has the option of calling the front desk if its an emergency How is that going to be greeted by the front desk If it does not sound like its a general question Or if they dont give you the opportunity to ask before they shoot you down No one should question the competency of the staff because i am sure they are all qualified to do their jobs including the front desk job but we can question is there room for improvement we already know its needed Just my opinon
