First of all Ive got to address the people insidennIf you are or have ever lived in Everett Country Club Apartments later commonly referred to as The Jungle or as it was later changed to Trailside Village Apartments you are likely on Section 8 or a similar program and have little choice about where they put younnI was the child of one of those people and I was born and raised 17 years in that neighborhood First in 1317 Bruskrud and then in 1321 BruskrudnnThe Jungle quickly became a cesspool of criminal activity aided by the fact that the interurban trail that literally cuts through the neighborhood provided a lot of wooded area to go out and do whatever you wantednnIn the 90s the management of the neighborhood changed hands and things got even worse Suddenly the employees were a part of the problem and instead of just drugs and turf wars it was gang rapes serial stabbings fires mass shootings crazy people in the woods building forts for kids and pizza guys refusing to deliver anymorennIn the early 00s the management changed hands again and this is about the time that Trailside Village was born In the mid00s a deal was made with the Everett Police Department and they opened a police station on Bruskrud Road in between Trailside Village and BriarwoodnnI believe it is vital that this information is known before you choose to let anyone live in this neighborhood It is a literal hell hole and rivals Casino Road and Oakes Avenue as the worst place in Everett either to live or to visitnnIt got to the point that the Everett Mall had to build a fence around the perimeter of the property line between themselves and The Jungle because the parents were teaching their children how to steal And they would en masse every daynnPlease for the love of whatever God you believe in dont bring your children here The wolfpack mentality that you found here was the kind of thing youd find in really bad states the kind of things that lead to Boston burningnnAnd finally the mold The walls pipes and foundations are completely infested with black mold When you reported it they would at most come in and paint over it For some goddamn reason the city inspectors either havent looked for it or found it and were convinced not to report it The whole goddamn place should be knocked down burned salted covered in dirt and converted back into woods more ... hide ...

So first let me say Ive been here through two property managers and thank you to Eve and formerly Zoe for turning this place around We moved in here just needing a place in a hurry during the pandemic and while previous management got us in it was seriously a nasty property where nothing ever got fixed well thank you to new management it is finally looking like this place could be called a real home Unfortunately many of the residents here are the definition of lease violations but most are pretty nice and our property manager Eve is the absolute greatest property manager I have ever dealt with She genuinely cares and wants to help everyone She tries to work with people to help them overcome hurdles in their way and has an awesome wealth of knowledge she is seriously a blessing and I am so thankful I stayed here She has done so much to try to change the property for the better and its really showing blue line security however not sure why HNN even thinks they are a good security source they full on never call back and if they do its hours after you call absolute joke of a company I am excited to see the love Eve gives to her residents she has brought a breath of fresh air to the property Cannot wait to see how much better this property gets under her leadership So excited for the future Thank you HNN for giving us a manager who cares about their residents more ... hide ...
