I moved into Affinity Walla Walla approximately 2 12 yrs ago and have never regretted it at allnThe staff is fantastic and extremely helpful no matter what is requested of themnOn Tuesdays and Thursdays several of we residents go down to Dilly Dalleys for root beer floats andor something a little stronger to imbibenThen it is off to the Community Room Room to play cards continue visiting or go up to our apartments to have dinner and relaxnSeveral residents prefer a more quiet way of living and prefer staying home instead of being socialnSome of the other amenities include a beauty salon craft room library internet cafe and game room I am sure that I have forgotten something but after all Im only humannAffinity also provides dinners programs and entertainment throughout the year Since we are a 55 and over retirement complex I wondered at first what the age demographics would be here I was pleasantly pleased that we are divided in each age group fairly equally and best of all everyone mingled with each other no matter their agesnOne of the more fun occasions was before Christmas when if we residents donated food pet beds treats and such we could have our pets picture taken with Santa Some animals liked it others hated it but luckily Santa did not get bitnThe one other plus Affinity at Walla Walla has is its location We are situated close to 4 restaurants beauty parlors drug stores BiMart Safeway nail salons Starbucks a Dollar Tree and dental clinics Add to that we are only 3 or 4 blocks from 2 hospitals and medical clinicsnI plan on staying here at Affinity at Walla Walla for many years to come I cant imagine living anywhere else especially because the staff and residents have become my family more ... hide ...
