Lived there for three years moved last year The current manager is WAYYYY better than the one previously there She was so rude and not helpful Apartment was fine maintenance was good we had an issue with a small leak in the roof above he stairs near the garage and it took several months to repair and the previous manager had bad communication Parking was also an issue We had a back unit and our driveway was near a turnaround spot NOT a parking spot Large trucks would park there daily and block us in Despite the office putting a sign up people still parked there and the tow threat was never enforced The sign was also knocked over by a car within 2 weeks and never fixed We also had an issue with mice that took forever to be resolved Plowing the snow was also problematic My husband and i worked early around 6am and the streets in the complex were usually not plowed Overall not a bad place We rented the room near the office a few times for events and liked it Pool was nice Rocky roads sucked Street lights often burnt out But we were able to get our entire deposit back If youre looking still give it a try Dont let the previous managers mistakes sway you The current manager is great more ... hide ...

Since I have to give at least one star I dedicate it solely to Dave the head of maintenance My mother and I lived in bldg 615 apartment 110 for 7 years When we first moved there it was great The apartments are beautiful and back then there was a sense of community Over the years that changed We went through mold remediation 3 separate times Twice in one mont 2021-07-12T20:14:34Z
Since I have to give at least one star I dedicate it solely to Dave the head of maintenance My mother and I lived in bldg 615 apartment 110 for 7 years When we first moved there it was great The apartments are beautiful and back then there was a sense of community Over the years that changed We went through mold remediation 3 separate times Twice in one month and then again almost a year to the day Grinker never got it right During this time I also found out that they were being sued because of mold Over the years my mom kept getting sicker and sicker They couldnt keep staff with the exception of Dave They became all about money and what they could charge you for We were forced out of our home just so they could gut it and charge more rent If you ask a question make sure you get the answer in writing because if you ask the same question again youll get a different answer I understand its a business and that you own a business to make money but when its in a business that deals with people and where they live you have to have a little heart The owners of Riverwood have no heart Since moving not only have I saved money on my WE energies but best of all my moms health has improved greatly You see they refused to check a wall for mold even though we insisted that there had to be mold in the wall due to several leaks A friend of ours had lived there for 14 years and was forced out so they could charge more for his apartment The garage door is always broken as is the elevator If this review saves just one person or family from making the mistake of moving there then the time I spent writing this was worth it Please please please think again before moving here There are so many other places close by more ... hide ...
