I was approved for an apartment November 2021 well before my lease was up in January 2022 Its now February and my child and I are homeless Ive been advised to seek housing in other cities but if I was approved in Chandler why would I leave just because CHA doesnt want to make vouchers the true value of the citynnThe only apartments that rent less than 1400 a month typically have landlords that dont care for the property or tenants are roachinfested lack proper repairs and are just not suitable for my health issuesnnI gave up a lowincome apartment in Downtown Phoenix to accept my section8 voucher a year agothis is now year two and Ive been homeless since January 2022 I cannot find housing in Chandler that is less than 1500 I began working and I still have not received an updated voucher to accommodate my increased income Im not given the proper paperwork to give to potential landlords when I locate a property Ive lost multiple housing opportunities because the housing specialists are out or overloaded or idk but Im so tired of thisnnI personally feel like Chandler Housing is internally neglecting clients because they want us to port out Its not ok and I shouldnt leave where I have lived gained community friends church and school due to their neglect or lack of

I called this complex hoping to have someone respect and hopefully answer my genuine and quite frankly somewhat embarrassing questions all the while hearing some woman in the background repeat me hearing in and laughing at my questions I do not appreciate this its hard finding anywhere thatll take time to listen Id not refer this place to anyone for their l
