I was homeless and was searching for churches and agencies that might help to get into a shelter I saw on google that I could go to the Tempe library on Tuesdays on that advice I went to the library had a very helpful visit with an incredible young woman who wanted to get me enrolled in the housing voucher program unfortunately the lady who handled such case

I was homeless and was searching for churches and agencies that might help to get into a shelter I saw on google that I could go to the Tempe library on Tuesdays on that advice I went to the library had a very helpful visit with an incredible young woman who wanted to get me enrolled in the housing voucher program unfortunately the lady who handled such cases was away for the week she then found me a space in a shelter she told me to meet her at 3pm right there at the library at 3 she came and drove me to the shelter I got enrolled and for about a month I stayed at each designated shelter the vacationing worker returned contacted me I had an interview and within perhaps 2 weeks more I was awarded a housing voucher which follows the same guidelines as a section 8 voucher but only is for a 2 year duration I found a spot immediately and moved in after about six months I got a notification that invited me to attend a meeting one Saturday morning to determine what steps I would need to get myself in a more permanent situation once the 2 year voucher expired I met a lot of very interesting people who gave me tons of information to follow upon However the most lasting events that occurred that day was not only the guests who spoke to us but my worker and one other lady who was incredibly cordial to me and as I neared my first year in the program was informed that my original worker was returning to her hometown and I was to be reassigned and to my surprise my new worker was the same incredible cordial lady Id met at that Saturday meeting just about two months prior to my first year on the temporary voucher my worker phoned me asked me if I wanted to come in and be installed permanently into the section 8 program I was shocked beyond belief she told me her superiors asked the caseworkers if they knew of anyone who they thought should be placed she raised her hand and said my name WOW so at the end of my first temporary year I am now on section which I have been trying to enroll in for several years I was able to be placed on a couple waiting lists but now thanks to 3 unbelievably wonderful women I am finally on section 8 Thank You Tempe Housing

I lived at Omnia for a year and it wasnt the worst experience but it also wasnt the bestnnManagement changed 3 times during my time here and the assistant manager that worked in the office when I first moved in was so kind but unfortunately is no longer theren Maintenance request system is easy to use wasnt hit with cleaning fees for move out and promptly go

I lived at Omnia for a year and it wasnt the worst experience but it also wasnt the bestnnManagement changed 3 times during my time here and the assistant manager that worked in the office when I first moved in was so kind but unfortunately is no longer theren Maintenance request system is easy to use wasnt hit with cleaning fees for move out and promptly got my security deposit back so those are positivesnn Apartment unit was very outdated always had a smell to it even after buying an air purifier and later developed a roach infestation 78 months into living there The unit above mine had pest control go in at least 3 times so I believe they came from theren Days after moving out I had multiple health issues disappear that I think were caused by mold all symptoms lined upn The septic tank backed up TWICE and one time I had sewage in my bathtub for 8 HOURS until plumbers arrived at 9pm going door to door to let everyone know they were fixing it soonnn Not the safest area or complex Citizen notifications went off every nightnIn my time there we had a lockdown because of an active shooter random people knocking on my front door at 1am boyfriends car got broken into a car fully on fire outside my apartment and gates are never closed despite being promoted as a gated communitynn Absolutely no empathy or options for needing to pay rent late if youre out of work due to COVID Honestly a large reason in not renewing was the interaction I had with a staff member that felt so dehumanizing when I asked about options for this and was offered no resources for helpnPolicy is late fees even after 1 day of rent being due so be warynnMaybe I had horrible luck but hopefully this essay will be useful to someone Repost because my review was hidden the first time when it had photos

56 units and I live and pay rent and cant even park there too many cars there some expired tags some dont run and apparently they have 23 cars I just dont get why Before we moved there they said the units would have one parking spot marked and two years there we still dont

I have tried to get in contact with the office for a few months and never get a answernI would think that the manager would at the least leave a message that there are no available apartment openingsnIts hard to get to the apartments without transportationnRiding 2 buses to get there and no one is in the office is really agitating
