9 Months later and Im here having to follow up on my original review Google wouldnt allow me to write a completely new review nor add the updated review alongside the originalWord count limitnnUpdate 32922nnThough the property has numerous cons there are a couple of pros The maintenance and cleaning staff here on property are nice and hospitable towards residents As well as the new assistant property manager Miss Camika she gives residents a sense that she cares at attempting to solve problems that we bring to the office Its sad to say that shes the only person on the management team that presents herself in such a mannernTransitioning to the Cons The property fails to notify or send out proper memos for repairs being conducted around the property that take extensive time periods andor displace residents from day to day movements around the property Keep in mind that a significant amount of tenants residing here are elderly The elevator in building two has been in and out of operations since late Januaryearly February of this year Weve yet to get a proper memo as far as a projected plan and timeframe for the repair Youll walk past the elevator one morning and theres no sign posted Walk by the same evening and theres a sign posted Elevator down until further notice This constant cycle of working and not working is unacceptable considering how long its been occurringnnIt also took over 10 months for my apartment to receive our referral credit As expected we were taken through several loopholes Dont bother referring anyone to the Marquis ApartmentsnnA bigger issue The gates have been out of order since Hurricane Ida hit Hurricane Ida made landfall in New Orleans on August 29th 2021 and here it is March 29th 2022 Thats extremely UNACCEPTABLE considering the fact that residents pay for a parking decal If youre not here by 7pm you wont have a parking spot within the gate due in part to people without parking decals retaining spots Ive brought all of these issues to the attention of the management team prior to coming here I find it odd that my gate key works for the gates parallel to my side and when brought to the management teams attention on several occasions they just dismiss the claims stating that Its due to Hurricane Ida Well its been over half of a year now Whats the reason the gates have yet to be repaired As anyone would believe that its been more than enough time for the gates to be properly and adequately repaired The Marquis management team led by Ms Summers does not reflect an overall sense of caring about the safety wellbeing and comfort of residentsnnLastly beware of calling the office as for you will receive a dismissive run around by such parties Thats if they answer the phone because as of lately they dont answer any calls To this day Im still waiting on a series of work orders placed in December of 2021 to be fulfilled yet rent is constantly turned in on time The office either shuts you down with the same quotes were short staffed or Theyre getting around to it IT DOES NOT TAKE THREE MONTHS TO COMPLETE A WORK ORDER REQUEST Personally I find it interesting how rent is expected to be paid in a timely manner each and every single month when in return the Property is barely meeting the basic demands and requests of tenants This goes back to the dismissive atmosphere that I spoke about in my review from 9 months ago This is a prime example of the dismissive atmosphere that engulfs the management team of this location Not to mention the difficulties of reaching anyone at the corporate level If you value protection and a state of well being please look at other apartment complexes prior to this propertynnOnce againChoose wiselynnou value protection and a state of well being please look at other apartment complexes prior to this propertynnChoose wisely

Im not one to usually do reviews primarily because Im lazy lol but Ive definitely felt compelled to do a short review of my time thus far herennMy wife and I have had such a great experience here at Crescent Club We just moved to the area around May and in doing a bit of research on our end given the crime rate around New Orleans and all we definitely wanted to be at a location we felt very safe in and Crescent Club has definitely been that for us given the gated parking gated community where you need a key fob to get anywhere in the buildings and a roaming security guard onsite We also love our actual apartment and for the price we pay monthly there was no way we were going to pass up on itnLove the pool area thats very spacious and plenty of room around to just relax and hangout if youd want and a small little yard to play catch or cornhole etc And we appreciate the fitness center as well thats a nice little resort on rainy daysnnMaintenance also has been outstanding with requests we have submitted being done the same day so thats been wonderfulnnLastly the main pros of Crescent Club I would have to say is the staff itself with Matthew being one of the leasing specialists and Jessica the property manager They have been the nicest people Ive dealt with at an apartment complex and just from the first phone call I had with Matthew inquiring about the apartment complex he just had and still has the friendliest demeanor that honestly had a huge push in my wife and I deciding to lease with Crescent Club as with Jessica there was a package situation I had that got resorted out but during that she went above and beyond to assist me in that looking through camera activity with her until we resolved the issue and I was extremely grateful for thatnnAll in all my wife and I have had nothing but a truly positive experience here at Crescent Club thus far and we truly will be looking to continue our lease here for however long we decide to stay in New Orleans and this is absolutely a place you should check out if youre also on the lookout for a great safe apartment complex to be a part of Thanks again to Jessica Matthew and all of the staff at Crescent Club in making our experience truly wonderful thus far

The property manager of this establishment is indisputably rude and condescending in every manner possible I called about an apartment available to lease and was told to apply and I wait a week to hear that the apartment I submitted an application for was not even available for the time I wanted to move in Why would you have me submit an application for an apartment that is not ready for move in Especially when I stated that I was looking to move ASAP not within weeks She tried putting me into a smaller apartment that I did not want and I refused and found another building to lease from We spoke on the phone about the application fee I paid and she informed me that she would refund it since the apartment was not available I call back a couple weeks later to ask about receiving my application fee back and she gave me the nastiest attitude telling me nothing will be returned because I had the INTENT of moving here NO I had the intent of moving into the unit I submitted an application for I am appalled by the unprofessionalism happening at this establishment Just look at the other Google reviews that mention how unprofessional and nasty her attitude is Management like this needs to be reprimanded and now is the time
