When my grandfather moved here four years ago this apartment building was nice Now it is run downnnLack of security No security is sitting in the lobbyonly if the door is broken and even though they will leave something in the doorway like a caution wet sign to keep the door from closing and locking Its unsafe here I pray for my grandfather every night that nothing happens to himnnTHIS IS A SENIOR CITIZEN BUILDING The doors and elevators are broken whenever a bad storm happens and this leaves residents stuck in their apartments or if they have to come out they will have to call 911 to have firefighters carry them down to the first floornnAS OF NOW THE ELEVATOR HAS BEEN BROKEN SINCE THURSDAY AUGUST 4 THERE ARE ELDERLY AND DISABLED RESIDENTS HEREnnThere isnt any urgency when problems occur It is dangerous and unsafe A bullet came through TWO residents windows about a month ago They lived on the 2nd and 3rd floor Thank GOD no one was hurtnnThe young lady that works in the office now doesnt know what to do She is nice and newbut needs to be more informative about things that are happening in THIS building But dont be late on the rentTHEY WILL MAKE A QUICK RESPONSE TO LET YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE LATE They do not do wellness checks or calls on the elder residents that live here Its a mess I pray to God something gets better before it gets worse If this comment gets deletedI will post it againnnSOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ASAP

My husband and I lived here MUCH longer than we should have Within a few months of movein we had gallons of water through the ceiling in the walls out from under the floorboards Naively we trusted the landlord who makes many promises to follow through and he doesnt follow through EVER We had water constantly we had mold we had windows that wouldnt open because they were installed poorly We had a landlord who told us It would be easier for me if you moved out because I could patch the hole and rent to someone else at a higher ratennTHIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO LIVEnnWe lived here for almost three years getting baited along that things in the building would change People were destructive slicing holes in the artwork on the wall in the hallways Security wasnt a priority the locks on the doors to the building were often dysfunctional leaving the doors unable to even securely close this was VISIBLE from the parking lot and occurred multiple times throughout our tenancy and always went unaddressed for days at a time if not weeks Gates were left open My bike was stolen from inside the residentonly locked garage where the building manager had told me to lock it BGE meters were hooked up to the wrong wiring so people had the wrong bills to pay that took several months to be addressed despite significant outcry from tenantsnnIts just not a good building The turnover was ridiculous We wanted to love it because it seems fairly affordable is walkable to so much including public transit but it just wasnt worth it In retrospect we should have demanded our deposit back immediately after the first incidence of torrential water through the ceilingsnnThe worst part is how many other tenants still live there in those conditions including several elderly tenantsnnSave yourself the trouble and DO NOT MOVE HERE AVOID

I am a landlord Dealing with section 8 is a nightmare Unresponsive via phone and email does not follow their own procedures very unorganized unprofessional and more There also seems to be no accountability for the individual staff members and departments Thats probably why customer service is low priority I do business with section 8 in other jurisdictions outside of Baltimore City and my experience is not this Its my understanding that they need more landlords to participate in this program but they treat us horribly Ive lost so much time and money due to staff members simply not doing their job and being responsive Executives and head administrators really need to work harder to streamline processes improve customer service for tenants and landlords and hold each other staff and departments accountablennThe way this organization runs is not okay
