The actual professionals are great Sometimes wait times can get to be a little much even with an appointment but the psychiatrists I have encountered seem to care and take time to hear their patients Lower rating due to an overly permissive approach to who is allowed to just be in the wait area and for how long Last visit there was a man who was obviously homeless who had his huge grocery cart hoarde with him in the waiting area He appeared to be struggling with mental illness very symptomatic and at times would begin to loudly rant or respond to what I assume were voices I thought he was a patient but after sitting there for 4 hours I realized he was just avoiding the rain Along with 2 homeless women who were very hostile to people who sat in the samd row as them and another man who came in apparently under the influence of some type of upper jealously guarded the phones probably because he believed he was hidden there and no one would see him drink the handle of vodka he had with himnNone of these people saw a professional while they were there I watched them come and then go without anyone in the office asking them to keep it quiet or maybe dont growl at the patients

I know Im a total stranger but for the love of god stay away from this place I was referred to this organization by my case worker who recommended me for the Learn program which is suppose to assist people with mental health issues find employment My case worker filled out a 15 minute application and then I was required to have a 25 minute intake interview in which I was asked every question under the sun including my employment barriers I wasnt expecting to be handed a job on a silver platter but I thought since they were working with a specific demographic there would actually be some help I asked about job fairs networking internships on the job training interviewing etc and I was told there was nothing they could do to help me Their only requirement was to send me job postings they found on Indeed Just because I have depressionanxiety doesnt make me illiterate In fact I have a bachelors associates diploma and certificate Then after three weeks I was considered a problem because I didnt land a job during a pandemic Absolutely no help with job barriers My mental health deteriorated to the point where my therapist told me to drop them Never received a reply from my rep or even a good luck No survey sent either so obviously the program doesnt care and neither does the county that tax dollars are being wasted with this useless organization
