We were very dissatisfied with our stay as it did not meet the basic cleaning and hygiene standards of Airbnb Upon checkin there were multiple issues with the apartment There was water leaking from under the kitchen sink the dishes and utensils were very dirty and the dish sponge provided was filthy and torn up The garbage can lid had stains all over it the

We were very dissatisfied with our stay as it did not meet the basic cleaning and hygiene standards of Airbnb Upon checkin there were multiple issues with the apartment There was water leaking from under the kitchen sink the dishes and utensils were very dirty and the dish sponge provided was filthy and torn up The garbage can lid had stains all over it the coffee machine was clearly not cleaned and there was no hand soap in the apartment The entire upper floor including the bathroom did not have a garbage can The carpet was clearly not vacuumed and the entire place was dusty When we called to address these problems the host was able to send someone from the cleaning team but even after this half the issues were not resolved The cleaning team told us that the sink was not fixed so we had to go up and down the stairs each time we had to clean something There was a dishwasher but no pods were provided for us We had to use our early checkin time that we paid extra for to address these issues and clean the apartment During a global pandemic we would expect the cleaning standard to be higher not lowernNeedless to say we were extremely unhappy and asked Copper club to at least refund us the early checkin fee and the cleaning fee The team refunded us the early checkin fee but had the audacity to message us that our early checkin time had not been disturbed as we had planned to go shopping anyways What they fail to understand is that we had to change all of our plans to accommodate cleaning an apartment which should have been cleaned in the first place They still have not mentioned anything about returning our cleaning fee We cannot seem to understand what the hold up is For a company that claims to pride themselves in quality and service this was a very unexpected response We tried to be very nice and understanding but at this point their lack of accountability for the condition of the apartment is very frustrating
