I wanted to love this place Quality affordable housing in Austin is an anomaly and I believe foundations in communities has a noble mission and does a world of good for many families They go above and beyond in some aspects such as financial counseling or English language eduction But then to allow the quality of the building security and maintenance to be so deficient is unacceptable My breakdown the fact that this was affordable came as quite a surprise to me It is true that the rent was a lot less than other apartments in this area but that doesnt make it affordable My rent with two kids was half my take home income The utilities were better than most apartments Ive lived in though You will have to use Att for Internet which I loathe I had some dead zones in my apartment and had to rearrange furniture to get serviced Packages get stolen from your door I saw someone do it right in front of me in broad daylight and people smoke pot all over the property without regard to your children walking by There are no sound barriers and you can hear people around you and in the halls like Ive never experienced before We had to get sound machines for every room and to say my kids and I had some horrible nights sleep seems and understatement No amount of complaining seemed to do anything But all of that pales in comparison to the roaches Ive never lived in a place with so many roaches I complained more times than I can count I have cameras in the common areas of my apartment again feeling secure was not something I felt here and I showed the office where the pest control guy spent less than a minute in my apartment and sprayed once not even in the problem area They said they were under contract so the same inept pest control kept showing up premium cuts When I asked to get out of my lease a month early because of the bugs I was told they would arrange a fogger treatment Andso they arranged the treatment withthe same company that I caught on camerannI grew up in the country I have since lived in several apartment complexes in my life I have never been so grossed out and negatively impacted by bugs before While location mission and size of the apartment are all positives the negatives here FAR out way them more ... hide ...

I lived here for 1 yr im very sad that i couldnt renew my least and didnt get the 2 month notice to move out so when i talked to the manager juan he was extremely rude and said that he will be doing eviction if i wasnt out that same day it was a great place till light tower took over with juan Not only did this happen he also pushed a lady living here he tho 2020-04-15T17:51:25Z

Just to mention one of the poor services this month I went to pay the rent on the 1st of July and the office was closed so I tried to drop off my rent payment in the dropbox For some reason the dropbox was locked Then SaturdaySundayMonday they were closed so I returned to pay but they told me that I was late and ended up charging me an extremely high fee for 2022-07-06T01:10:03Z

I was called an told there was two bedrooms available for immediate move in so as soon as I flew here I notified the property an they scheduled an appointment to view the apartment at 1pm yesterday I showed no one was there no courtesy call of a reschedule no email Mind you I paid for an Uber to get here an a Uber back to my hotel Talked with two different receptionist an one couldnt even scheduled me for today to even honor the absent employees she said they were fully booked on appointments I showed up just to check if someone is in office an again no one was there same sign from yesterday an just as yesterday a few ppl stood outside waiting it was more disappointed people even the mail man turned away You are a income restricted home an I am sure you are aware voucher holders have so many days to look for a home To schedule people and not show up especially with the heat being 105 is ver unprofessional I took it upon myself to drive around the complex an see what is around the community an just like them front doors being dusty the pool is even disgusting but ur maintenance workers are there The pictures on the website are deceiving I say all this to say as a home stagger I have worked with property managers as well as real estate agents never have I ever seen potential clients chasing managers a phone call to reschedule only takes two minutes of your time as the Uber took 35 minutes of mine All u have to do is care enough to reschedule people u have a rerouted call center that Im sure as they show up to work to apologize for your mess they couldve lend you a hand to notify the clients you had scheduled not to waste their time coming in yesterday and today an reschedule at a time you would be available more ... hide ...
