Loved the space for me and my kids but decided to leave after our not exactly a yr lease was up Never got to use any of the amenities the whole time we were there NOV 20 to OCT 21 Always got different answers from staff as to why the amenities werent open or available Even contacted corporate and never got an answer There were 2 maintenance men when I first moved in then 1 quit and the one that was left was always uncomfortably awkward when he came Water pressure was terrible blinds were super cheap upstairs neighbor water pipe busted which made a bubble of water in our kitchen ceiling which they took a min to fix an told us not to touch the light switch to avoid getting electrocuted Needed to extend my notice to vacate so me and my kids wouldnt become homeless and Rhonda told me in person my apt was already going to be rented out and there were no other 3 bedrooms available but when me and my oldest daughter called separate timesdifferent numbers and talked to her she said they had one available to move in the month after I was scheduled to move out Then they took 2 months to get my deposit to me claiming they didnt have a forwarding address when I had a copy of the form THEY had me fill out and sign and give a forwarding address on when I turned my keys in When I finally received it from corporate the check was made out to me and one of my kids my 12 yr old smh ppl are shady and miserablennFYI I learned this a little too late but I know now that if youre eligible to receive any of your deposit back and you do not receive it within 30 days after youve moved out then contact legal counsellegal aid or an attorney The company will have to pay you 3x of what youre owed Please know your rights as a tenantthe laws or you will get taken advantage of more ... hide ...

I went to an Open House when I made a visit to Bluebonnet Studios They gave a short seminar in which a few residents were able to voice their experience with Foundation Communities Afterwards we had a light lunch and they took us on a tour of the Community It was a very nice apartment community Besides the apartments they had different areas that you c 2022-07-22T20:57:37Z

This community is okayishnnPros The rent is cheaper than other apartments The floor plans are good and the space is large People living here are mostly PhD students at UT so unlike oncampus housing with college students there are not many loud party events here The maintenance is good and fast Water is included in the rentnnCons The buildings here are too old If you live on the first floor you can always hear the footsteps from upstairs If your upstairs neighbor is jumping then you are screwed up The AC compressor is installed at the roof of each buildings staircase It is so loud that every tenant in that building can hear the deep working sound of AC Also it is close to the railways so you can hear the sound of trains at the midnight The vent in the bathroom seems connected to you neighbors so that when they take a shower you can smell their shampoo and body washnnOverall if you can choose other communities please choose them more ... hide ...

We are currently experiencing a scary situation at Village Collinwood our security gates have been broken at my building since I moved in in May Two gates one on either side of the building one broken in closed position for my first 3 monthsthen Labor Day weekend all gates were disabled in the open position for the hurricane and on Oct 23rd they are still 2017-10-23T08:37:00Z
We are currently experiencing a scary situation at Village Collinwood our security gates have been broken at my building since I moved in in May Two gates one on either side of the building one broken in closed position for my first 3 monthsthen Labor Day weekend all gates were disabled in the open position for the hurricane and on Oct 23rd they are still in the open position allowing for neighborhood drug deals in the parking lot to be an often times a day occurrence our dumpsters overfilled by any truck that happens to drive by etc When you combine that with the drug dealing by the family of the residents it makes for a scary situation for seniorsnnThe really frightening thing is this is a 55 and up complex One resident in a one bedroom in building 6 has currently 4 young men living with her She says one is her son two are nephews and one a friend All sleeping on the floor I have complained to management 15 days ago about it and yet the noise and the commotion in the parking lot outside my window just gets worse They are constantly showing up driving different cars and coming and going at all hours and drinking in the parking lotnnI used to get my exercise by walking the floors perimeters but these thugs hang out in the back of the building with no thought to the noise of concerns of the residents and management is either unwilling or unable to affect a solution to this I am disabled and elderly and feel I should be able to walk here without fear of engaging these young punksnnI was told only seniors seniors with custody of grandchildren or a family member acting as caregiver are the only ones allowed Right now I am living in a nest of gangbangers and thugs and the resident where they are staying has been hospitalized more than in actual residence here so WHAT GIVESnnUntil this situation is resolved Id check out the other properties available for yourself or a loved one as this is an UNSAFE situation and its only getting worse In making my complaint to management I asked her to address these problems and let me know what she is going to do Many residents here have also complained so today a I am sending a letter to the corporate office to document this situation and lay the groundwork for legal actions more ... hide ...
