I love this place so much that I recently moved back a second time after having tonmove away for a brief period for family mattersnnThere are many reasons that Mariposa is such a wonderful place to live It startsnwith the warmth that you feel from the staff upon your first visit and how welcoming and accommodating they continue to be on a daily basisnnI truly feel as though I have found a home here at Mariposa I love my apartmentnand the beautiful views I have from my balcony of the Texas Hill country The living areas are spacious and my guests are always commenting on the extra room in the oversized bathroom and walk in closetnnThere are also many great amenities here that I enjoy the use of as often as possible such as the beautiful swimming pool well equipped fitness center andnof course the easy to access laundry facilitynnIm glad they are making this facility smoke free at the first of the year which I believe is going to make it even better place to live here nnBut I would say the best part of living here at Mariposa apartment homes is how you feel like you have become part of an extended family with the other residents and the staff The sense of community that you experience here is by far Mariposas greatest asset

I used to live at the Villas and I have met Ethel Steven the crew and have to say they are amazing people They try their hardest to help their residents at their earliest convenience when there is a problem They are super friendly caring and overall kind to all of the residents kids included There have been times where they become super busy but they always try their hardest to get stuff done They will and always have gone out of their way to make everyone feel welcome into their office and make sure that everyone leaves with a smile on their face Ive seen lots of things happen since Ive known the staff and it takes a lot on them personally to make sure everything is going to be okay in the end Im sorry to all of the people who have had bad experiences but people also have to remember that things take time and it cant always be done to your time expectations They have multiple people living there no matter how upset or sad or angry that you are there is no reason to talk about someones education or someone disrespectfully because an accident happened If it was your kids or your friends making the mistake imagine how you would treat them or if you were in their shoes Ethel is a very Amazing person who is always willing to help out anyone she is kind and caring and shes always very welcoming arms to anyone who needs help with anything They are amazing And I hope they never forget it Keep rocking Villas

Moved in on the 9th of September and After turning them in everything that was wrong it took two day shy of a month to finally get hot water now they refused to come in here and fix anything else and keep saying its me not letting them in now they are trying to charge me 1500 after I have all the receipt showing Im paid up They wont me out in three months b

Moved in on the 9th of September and After turning them in everything that was wrong it took two day shy of a month to finally get hot water now they refused to come in here and fix anything else and keep saying its me not letting them in now they are trying to charge me 1500 after I have all the receipt showing Im paid up They wont me out in three months because I have turned him in to everybody I wrote a certified letter to them and theyre still keep playing around now tonight my stove malfunctioned melted through the metal heating element through Sparks and caught on fire This place is a joke Please do not rent here save your money go somewhere else

I am incredibly disappointed with and shocked by how far the quality of life has deteriorated here in such a short time We first moved in at Country Oaks a bit over a year ago and at that time I loved this community The office staff Sadie especially were all so thoughtful kind and eager to be of assistance and the grounds were very wellmaintained Since then however the managing company has changed hands and in the last several weeks we have lost Sadie our property manager our assistant property manager and both maintenance technicians leaving the community largely unsupervised The grounds have fallen into disrepair in the absence of leadership and supervision Each day I see more property damage occurring sprinklers dug up and ripped from the ground walls graffitied lights burned out or purposely broken trash on the ground and scattered along the sidewalks multiple fence boards ripped away so people can move more easily between complexes etc Each night gets wilder and louder with random people roaming the grounds and partying in darkened stairwells It feels increasingly threatening and unsafe Last night while home alone someone tried the door handle to my front door I was unable to see who was outside trying to get in as the light in the stairwell and outside my front door door were broken The final straw landed today Our AC broke yesterday and although I called the emergency maintenance line immediately and left a message requesting assistance and a call back I didnt receive either until I began looking up Sandalwood corporate numbers today to call and issue complaints I am 8 months pregnant and today was my wedding day After a hot and sleepless night I got ready in an apartment already nearly 90 degrees by 8 am in the morning When I returned to my apartment at noon just after the ceremony my wedding cake was melted my guests too uncomfortable to stay and my dog was in respiratory distress from the heat and nearly died I spent the next hour with my dog in my arms standing under a cold shower sobbing terrified he would die My wedding hair and makeup ruined our cake a disaster our guests miserable in desperation I booked a night at a nearby hotel for my family and dogs only after finally receiving a call back from a woman identifying herself as our new property manager and immediately informing me she would not be issuing any reimbursement for our onenight stay Im done and throwing in the towel The community isnt safe our apartment isnt safe the stairwell to our second floor apartment isnt safe and I no longer wish to live here
