the theme of CCS is hope for the hopeless yet I have never felt my hope for any progress towards the future ripped from me the way I have the last 5 years if you want hopeful future do not buy into the BS lies that are promised by staff You will only know what it feels like to have the cockroaches running up and down the halls to have more value than we do

Given YWCAs big name and its ability to use that name to obtain donations as compared to some of the smaller homeless nonprofits this place by far offers the worst service to their clients Their front desk people are lazy and not helpful If you call to ask a question about their services they are often short rude and do not check on finding out the answers i

Given YWCAs big name and its ability to use that name to obtain donations as compared to some of the smaller homeless nonprofits this place by far offers the worst service to their clients Their front desk people are lazy and not helpful If you call to ask a question about their services they are often short rude and do not check on finding out the answers if they themselves do not know the answers Ive been told several times that they would call me back but each time I never received a call back Can we have a little proactive attitude care and followthrough here There are plenty of homeless people who could probably do any of the current employees job with more professionalism They really need to replace everyone here since it appears that everyone here is corrupt in the mismanagement of donated funds for they would rather spend time gossiping and being rude to people One employee even admitted that she demeans the clients by talking to them like they are children since she has to repeat her response to them What the employees here need to understand is that a lot of their clients have mental issues which do not allow them to remember things This does not give them the right to yell accuse or demean an adult person and yes they often do all three of these things when a potential donor is not around For one their employee Gracie is one of the biggest abuser of her power against the clients by doing all three of the above mentioned items As for the main center it is disorganized Services are not offered at the times that they are stated to be offered if at all Instead again they delay the time so that they can gossip In addition there are a lot of volunteers but there should be some sort of organization and communication with volunteers in regards to their commitment or if there is a cancellation they ought to have a policy in place for how volunteers are to communicate no shows Instead no one in the office seems to know anything and there is a lack of communication with volunteers eg obtain the volunteer organizations phone number And yet there are plenty or workers there just not productive organized ones Having said all these the services that they offer are much needed Therefore please do donate to womens homeless organizations Just choose one that will use the money more wisely and stretch the dollar further because this one seems to hire a lot of demeaning unorganized unproductive and unresourceful people
