Ive lived in a lot of different apartments in 9 years but this has to be the worst including the gross apartments in college I submit 12 maintenance requests a month Windows have visible gaps as well as front door which makes this apartment extremely inefficient for energy Toilet constantly runs and shower is almost impossible to turn off unless i use a towe

Ive lived in a lot of different apartments in 9 years but this has to be the worst including the gross apartments in college I submit 12 maintenance requests a month Windows have visible gaps as well as front door which makes this apartment extremely inefficient for energy Toilet constantly runs and shower is almost impossible to turn off unless i use a towel Bugs are consistent and i clean very regularly The best part is that the office never answers phone calls or emails And when you do submit maintenance request they talk to you like youre 5 years old I expressed my concern that I can feel the outside air coming into the apartment I was told I simply dont know how to close a window and after a demonstration was expected to show I now had the newfound knowledge to close said window I dont feel comfortable contacting maintenance since Ive been talked to in a condescending manor every time Im counting down the months until my lease is up

University is ok minus the insane parking situation however speaking for the veterans department terrible They take their time doing important things for the veterans whose lifeblood is the benefits they need to attend school pay for housing books etc Im at my wits end trying to deal with the snails pace that the veterans office at USF moves atnnNot sure how

I recently applied here at this apartment after spending 100 on just application fees I get a decision today with an outrageous deposit amount when they state the amount is 300 I have excellent rental history with no evictions or broken leases ever Ive been renting since I was 17 years old now being 38 Not impressed now after they tried us with this craz

I recently applied here at this apartment after spending 100 on just application fees I get a decision today with an outrageous deposit amount when they state the amount is 300 I have excellent rental history with no evictions or broken leases ever Ive been renting since I was 17 years old now being 38 Not impressed now after they tried us with this crazy messnnClearly this is false information they provide are trying to rip people off I would now never look at this place ever again I definitely rather pay a little more rent then deal with that type of service They also charge on top of the application fees administration fee so definitely better off going with a higher end apartment complex I Guess reality is that you get what you pay for FALSE ADVERTISING OUT TO STEAL YOUR MONEY FOR A CHEAP OLD APT COMPLEX I considered this place cause the rent amount was reasonable to me considering Im disabled have a minor still to take care of the apartment itself I was shown was decent for a timeframe of a year or two but was blown away now at how they try charging a deposit the same amount of your rent then also admin fees on top Im looking for something but Im not desperate I can easily rent a actual house if that was the case of paying that high amount of deposit

I should have known to run for the hills when the leasing office initially messed up and gave me an apartment that was already rented although I had solidified moving arrangements with them months prior to moving to Tampa They do not keep up the grounds or enforce any of the rules for residents designated in the lease agreement Theres literally piles of dirt

I should have known to run for the hills when the leasing office initially messed up and gave me an apartment that was already rented although I had solidified moving arrangements with them months prior to moving to Tampa They do not keep up the grounds or enforce any of the rules for residents designated in the lease agreement Theres literally piles of dirt and patches of brown grass sprinkled with dog feces outside of my window as I type this There are no washer and dryers in the units but the filthy laundry rooms are available to use if and when the machines are actually workingnnApart from the poor up keep of the grounds the maintenance crew do the bare minimum when you put in a request for service I had an issue with my faucets spewing water all over the counters both in the bathroom and kitchen I put in 3 request and I still have to to turn on the water a certain way to keep the water from going everywherennIn addition since I moved in there are more and more incidents of police having to come to the apartment complex for various reasons like domestic disturbance and car vandalism and break insnnMy advice DONT DO IT You can find a much nicer safe apartment with inunit washer and dryers for what they are charging I only have a couple more weeks and I am running as far as I possibly can

I understand the rent has gone up here since I lived here 23years ago At the time I started in a studio for 845 which wasnt bad for the area Never had a big issue with bugs and never had a problem with theftnOutside the place does look pretty dingy compared to the apartments around Especially since they changed to The Park at property managers They put this ugly reddish brown and tan color on everything which makes the apartment complex look so dated But the units are updated nice countertops nice cabinetry Which really is what mattersnnHowever none of the units have washers and dryers in it And two out of the three laundry facilities usually are down especially on the weekends The laundry situation was the main reason I decided to leavennThings I did like where that the location is great So close to the bridge to go to either Saint peter Clearwater but also close to town if you want to go downtownhyde park Also so close to the airport that if you take a lot of trips I would recommend this apartment complex or another around here The office people are nice Theyve helped me in a few binds when Ive locked myself out of my apartment or lost my keys And also during Covid they didnt raise the rent which is great I never felt unsafe or anything I would walk around the neighborhood on Memorial and around Bay crest all the time

STAY AWAY WHATEVER YOU DO DONT LIVE HEREnThis apartment property management team is trash My AC unit broke so I submitted an emergency request order never received a call back had to have a friend move my cats out because I was out of town and the heat was unbearable Submitted a second request that was ignored Had to call the office twice to get a maintenanc

Management is amazing working with tenants if you take the time and talk to them at their office Regardless of these comments they are more than willing to work with you The apartment complexs size by square feet to the cost is a reasonable price and cannot compare to other apartmentsnnParking has been an issue for a while due to tenants having 34 cars for a onebedroom However this morning I saw them reinforcing the parking pass Hopefully these extra vehicles can park at the visitors spot and not at the tenantsnnI have been living here for two years and during my time I have seen many changes such as implementing a drainage system to reduce flooding during storms They rebuilt the dock that was destroyed during the hurricane Repainted parking lines because people took two spots simultaneously when I was first here since it was nonexistentnnRegarding the cockroaches yes they do exist in the world What do you expect from a building that was built in 1969 They are constantly sending out pest control routinely to fight off the infestationnnIf I could recommend one thing it would be changing the building numbers logo Doordash people do not understand that building number xx17 is within building complex xx15xx19 Since there are multiple apartments with the exact apartment number they tend to drop off the food at the wrong place Please improve this

So my move out day was yesterday May 27 2022 But I would like to be as honest as possible The team in the leasing office is nice one time they gave out a courtesy breakfast at the entrance to residents Legend Oaks was a temporary place for me but in the four months that I lived here it was borderline decent I did like the hours of the amenities such as the gym and pool The cons of this complex is that it sits really close to the hospital so you can hear the helicopter fly over the complex It wasnt enough quiet nights for me because I would either hear loud kids at the pool an ambulance andor the helicopters Trash pick up was great because there is a bin right outside your door to put or bags in As far as the inside of the apartment the house spiders termites were everywhere Even though they would have a service to come spray or get rid of them on certain dates I just think it was not worth it to live there dealing with those kinds of bug issues The roaches that I saw in my place were limited but when I did occasionally see one they were HUGE The visitor parking was terrible and one time my husbands car got towed because there werent enough spaces They only gave me one sticker for my car The community laundry couldve been better if they cleaned them regularly and hours that it was opened was fine
