Dont rent management and leasing and maintenance are rudethey lie no people skillsthey dont fix anythingthe property and buildings are dirty and unhealthy most of time they are in clock they are gone and nowhere to be foundI dont know why greystone property management doesnt fire all of them

Ive lived at Addison Apts for 2 12 years and plan to stay long term My apartment is adorable The bedrooms and living room are spacious dining area is large enough for a stylish setup and my kitchen has plenty of cabinet space I have wood flooring throughout that always gets compliments A nice long hallway separates bedrooms and bath from the rest of the apartment I have no pests in my apartment thank goodness because I couldnt tolerate that I keep my environment clean and never see bugs or rodents building maintenance treats our units every few months or so as well I have good quality central air and heat Utility costs are reasonable through every season and theres plenty of hot water o Parking is free and theres room for everyone even a guest parking area Building managers and maintenance are awesome Theyre nononsense and dont do small talk Instead theyre professional get the job done ASAP when needed and then keep it moving just the way it should be The grounds are well kept Neighbors are okay I guess I keep to myself But Ive met a good number of tenants who have been living here for years and are satisfied The complex and immediate surrounding areas are quiet and peaceful except for rare minor incidences It shares a parking lot with a nursing home directly across from our buildings Lastly the freeway is about a minute away and Im only approximately 6 miles away from work downtown A tank of gas lasts for two weeks o Addison Apts and management are awesomennT Kelly more ... hide ...

While trying to move in to this place the property manager was very helpful and picked up the phone at first but when we applied he kept causing delays by not asking us for certain information until after we left and then had to return on another day to give him said information he also keeps forgetting to submit our applications for processing which further 2019-07-03T19:45:42Z

First of all I previously lived in the 1220 building Which is better compared to 1226 for approximately 2 years The apartment that I lived in was very spacious had walk in closets tons of windows and was very clean upon move in This apartment is located on Illinois street which is a one way and can sometimes be a little noisy if an ambulance goes by or siren 2014-03-26T05:45:52Z
First of all I previously lived in the 1220 building Which is better compared to 1226 for approximately 2 years The apartment that I lived in was very spacious had walk in closets tons of windows and was very clean upon move in This apartment is located on Illinois street which is a one way and can sometimes be a little noisy if an ambulance goes by or sirens from a passing police car If you are worried about transportationDont be If you want to go downtown walk one street over and the bus comes every 20 minutes Away from downtown Right outside the building is the bus stop If you dont take public transportation it is okayI took a lot of cabs and they are always 5 minutes away Lana the apartment manager is very friendly and can help with any situations you may ever have Now for the not so good If you have a car parking is horrible Sometimes you may have a spot on the street and sometimes you may have to park your car several blocks away The apartment complex has almost no amenities No pool elevator or fitness area in this building The main issue I had is the elevator Never get an apartment off the first floor trying to carry groceries and supplies up four flights of stairs can make you very tirednThe truth is if you are on a budget and need good housing without all the perks that cause your rent to go up this is the right place for you BONUS They pay all utilities except electric more ... hide ...

Im updating this reviewnWe have lived here now for close to 3 years Normal problems that you would have with an older apartment The office staff is helpful though which is wonderful People you get what you give If you call up to the office and scream and yell and cuss theyre not going to be very willing to help No the apartments arent the fanciest but they are updating the units as people move out They could be better but they could also be much worse Theyve recently added security which I personally appreciate Theyre trying to clean them up theyre worth giving a chancennHonestly the only bad thing I can say about these apartment is the location Anytime we have had any issues the maintenance has responded quickly and actually fixes things the first time The property manager is a nice lady she is helpful when Ive asked questions or needed help For the most part its quiet and no one bothers it and our apartment is huge Theres tons of storage space and the apartment is laid out nicely more ... hide ...

To start off Before moving in I was assured that the apartment was a safe place to live In the month I was there I have been made aware of the recent arson robberies assaults a stabbing outside my building and drug related crime The day I was scheduled to move in I was informed that my apartment was not ready The unit had not been cleaned and there was NO DOOR to my apartment Rather than making the door a priority I was given a plywood door that was padlocked It took 3 days for them to put an actual door on and I could not live there until then I was told it was because they had to fire a maintenance worker and have yet to replace him The sink in my kitchen was not connected correctly so I had water all over the floor anytime I used it There was a hole in the bathroom wall by the facet to the tub so again so water would leak onto the floor I HAD NO WORKING SMOKE DETECTORS FOR OVER 2 WEEKS It took nearly a month to get a new refrigerator my leaked Rather than fixing it I came home to find they had turned it off and nearly lost all food inside I spent an hour complaining to the management company that day alone to receive a new refrigerator The tile in the bathroom was peeling up and there was a hole in the wall leading to other apartments this allowing numerous insects to live and travel through The day I signed my lease I was told they would spray my apartment for the roaches that were there Never have they actually done this I have followed up on this many times and yet over a month later they still have not sprayed When it became clear that none of these things were would be done and I was finding roaches living all over my apartment as well as being bit by other insects in my sleep I left Rather than fixing the problem and providing a healthy place to live they decided to evict me I would never recommend anyone moving here The sad thing is that the apartment building was a nice place to live however poorly run and the management company put very little interest in providing a safe and healthy living environment more ... hide ...
