Management is horrible and zero help Parking is atrocious Always trash around dumpsters Front office always closes early Roaches everywhere No notice of entering apartment Maintenance requests are inconvenient to request and take forever for responses Rent due on 3rd even with prior notification you will be charged 10 of your rent on the 4th Eviction notice

Ive lived at Windy Ridge for 4 years The units themselves are nice and the maintenance team is great Other than that I would NOT recommend you move here for these reasonsn1 Weve had at least 5 Managers in 4 years If you call the office they dont answer and they have very limited hours Upper Management never respondsn2This is considered an affordable housing property however this company has chosen to raise rents to the highest percentage HUD allows every year Ive been heren3 Amenities are rarely ever available and never accessible after office hoursn4 Excessive noise issues and harassment is allowed no matter who is doing it or what time of day they do itnnFYIBecause of the excessive number of noise complaints Management recently updated the wording on the new lease from tenants have a right to peaceful enjoyment of our home to basically read This is a multi unit family housing so deal with the noise Obviously not verbatim but thats the gist of itnnManagement considers the following to be normal apartment noisenfurniture and other items being banged and slammed on the floor and walls Grown children running often in healed shoes children jumping off furniture and other items adults fighting slamming doors unsecured furniture slamming on the floor dragging chairs and other items around the house Healed shoes can be worn whenever a tenant feels like it Periodnn5 Babysitting IS allowed occupancy limits are NOT enforced and residents are allowed to stay without a leasennTheres no limit enforced on of visitors or the duration they can stayn6Good luck finding parking Visitors arent towed and some cars are broke down for monthsn7 Management will be in your unit at LEAST 3 times a year to inspect You are required to always allow 3rd parties access to your home even if you are NOT there You will receive a violation if you dontn8 Security is not promised or given Security lights dont work and lights in the buildings are out regularlyn9 I hope you dont mind roaches and your home smelling of weed The property is supposed to be a drug free property It absolutely is not

My father just moved into the building 2 weeks ago The water from the tub and shower has not worked properly since the day he moved in it drips out and he is unable to shower properly He is boiling water for an hour and a half each night to put into the bathtub to clean himself Ive deployed before and I am shocked that this is what he has to do after paying rent and fees How does the management not check the apartment unit before renting it out for cleanliness and functionnnOne of the two front desk staff not mentioning names even though I know her name because I have control of my tongue unlike her was not helpful He went to them to ask for assistance filling out a maintenance request and she told him to ask someone else for help I called the next day they were open and she hung up on me after she repeatedly spoke over me and wouldnt let me get one word innnHe even had his car towed because he was intimidated by the front staff to ask for help getting a permit I had to help him one weekend when I was off to get daily permits He is working on getting a permanent permit This cost him 300nnI live in San Antonio and was not able to visit him when he first moved in but I was totally disturbed to know the water in his shower was not workingnnIve called multiple times asking to speak to the manager but come to find out they only have a temporary manager who probably doesnt care about the residents nor how they are treated the living conditions nor how the office staff speaks to anyone on the phonennMy fear is that the office staff will continue to treat him unfairly and will ultimately lead to us having to pay out of pocket to get out of the toxic environment and to a place with functioning appliances Lehman action will be taken if this continues and if he has to move outnnIf management really reads these reviews I would love a reply and a phone conversation What if this has happened in the past multiple times Arent you embarrassed No one deserves this treatment No onennMy advice to future residentsn1 check out the unit before you agree to move inn2 ask them to show you how to use the online links They refused to help my dad Customer service professionals should never refuse to help someone I am also surprised they do everything online when the majority of their residents are over 55 years of age It is not user friendly for someone above 70 which is my fathers agen3 consider staying somewhere else The front desk staff that I mentioned above holds grudges and doesnt help which are all bad qualities in a front desk attendant who is supposed to be helping senior citizens
