If this is the Seattle one PARKING GARAGES ARE IMPOSSIBLE This was a lot more than three months ago 5th and Union I had a cool first 4 hours the 2nd 4 hours suckedToo hard to find the right garage and none of the Attendants knew I named the Skinny at the bottom building The Weeble Wobble building The Long Shoreman were sinking big ass Lincoln Logs haha

I took enough notes of my negative experiences living here to write a novel which no one would read Instead let me summarize it in the resident managers own wordsnnThis is a residential building for artistsnnSounds nice enough but let me unpack that for you It means though the building appears to be art oriented at first glance it is actually a residential building populated in part by artists who may create art there but are encouraged to show that art elsewhere If one deigns to display their art in the halls or lobby area 5 residents some or all of which may not be artists can force you to take it down because they find it offensive Take a moment to think about the likelihood of someone finding something offensive in todays world Take a moment to think about the kind of environment that allows artists to censor other artists Does that sound like a constructive artist community to you One artist friend actually had the police called on an abstract painting he hung in the hallnnThere is a high woke factor in this building If youre woke enough this place is for you maybe If not you will quickly find the climate becoming hostilennI encourage anyone interested in living in this place to talk to a few long time residents not exclusively chosen for you by resident management to get a feel for what its actually like I cant speak for what the other Artspace buildings are like Ive heard good things But this one has been dysfunctional since its inceptionnnOne star actually earned fornnHard to beat value of spacecostnToilet flushes very wellnNo pest problemsnnFour stars deducted fornnPsychological trauma more ... hide ...

A decent place to livenThe building is well maintained and the staff is friendly and helpful Theres not a lot to do in the neighborhood but there is a bus stop close by Paratransit is also available herennThere is a fair amount of traffic noise and the bowling alley parking lot can get pretty rowdy on some league nights but you kind of get used to thatnnSome 2019-11-17T01:11:52Z

Apartments arent built very well Moved in right after they were built in 2018 My washer and microwave already went out The tubs and sinks and toilets werent chalked and we had a leak from out bathroom into the bathroom below us Not the only apartment in the same building with the same issue either At least my neighbors arent nosey About the only upside The 2022-08-21T19:28:30Z

Washington Oakes is an amazing place to work This is also great place for seniors to live in a community surrounded by others of their same age with same interests and have staff on standby 247 shall they need anything This has been my 1st year of working here in the health and wellness department and it has been by far my favorite place working The upper management is very caring and understanding of their staff they understand family is important and are willing to work with what schedule will fit in with your life outside of home Tad the General manger has been very welcoming from the start When I was first told in my interview about how Washington Oakes was I was wondering if this could be real From the activities and groups they have planned for the seniors whom live in The Oakes Community to the outstanding yet delicious food with full 3 course meals very clean establishment 24 hour receptionist and medical staff outreach into the Everett community the list could go on In all true honesty this is a great place The staff is super friendly from all departments The Oakes is very caring to their staff working here and this is such a safe and beautiful place for seniors to live All of the Oakes residents are super sweet funny and welcoming as well more ... hide ...
